Donation Policy
Print Materials:
Print material donations are taken by our Friends of Bryan-Bennett Library group. Any donations accepted by the group are sold by donation to raise funds for the library and for its programs.
Any print material donation that is specifically to be considered for the library’s collection must be pre-approved by the Director or Assistant Director. Staff will sort the items and set aside those that we would use for our collection. Any not accepted will be donated to the Friends group, unless otherwise instructed.
Donations not accepted by the Friends group or by Bryan-Bennett Library:
- Textbooks
- Outdated reference materials
- Medical books
- Encyclopedias
