Bryan-Bennett Library Board of Trustees Special Meeting

June 30, 2022, 12:30 p.m. in the Board Room

Call to Order

Board President Jane Gaston called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m.

Roll Call of Trustees

Trustees present were: Jennifer Dice, Ed Dolbeare, Jane Gaston, Gary Hahn, Lynn Larimer, Jack McGuire, Joyce Raver and Gayla Wilkerson. Also present was Library Director Kim Keller.

Roof Project: Bids for Project

Board members were informed of the results of the June 28 bid opening, during which 5 bids were opened.

Trustee Hahn made a motion to reject all bids received June 28, because they came in over the architect’s estimate, and to authorize the architect to proceed with revising the bid documents for a future rebidding. Trustee Wilkerson seconded the motion. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

The Board asked Trustee Hahn to inform the project architect, Kale Calvert of ADG-Architecture and Design group of Mt. Carmel, of the Board’s decision.

Adjournment

A motion was made by Trustee Dolbeare, with a second by Trustee Hahn, to adjourn the meeting at 1:01 p.m. The motion carried.
